ITS Korea is a spinoff of Samsung Chemicals and has been established for the purpose focusing on the development of technology such as construction, engineering and maintenance services for refinery, petrochemical and power plants. ITS is specially one of leading companies in domestic & overseas markets specially in the field of revamp and construction works for refinery, petrochemical & power plants.

Rationale 

Given our relationship to the Group CEO, we were made to understand that the focus was to look for new 

opportunities for expansion as he understood our asymmetric relationships to a number of sovereign oil companies  in the GCC , more specifically in Saudi Arabia with the public energy agencies that govern the vast natural resources for these countries. The company had worked in a previous subcontracting role in the Aramco Saybah project.

​Solution 

Cassia worked with ITS to create a soft landing into Saudi Arabia for  the purpose of operation and maintenance plant work selecting a local partner and creating a Saudi entity for the venture. We worked with our relationships in the Royal Commission of Yanbu to have ITS Korea registered with the joint ExxonMobil / Saudi Aramco refinery Samref for the purpose of sustained tank refurbishment work as well as participating in the planned shut down and revamp of the facilities.
