Overview

The DLA is an agency in the United States Department of Defense (“DoD”), comprising more than 26,000 civilian and military personnel worldwide. Located in 48 states and operating in 28 countries, the Agency provides supplies to the military services and supports their acquisition of weapons, repair parts, and other materials, with a spend over US$10 billion in petroleum products alone.

Rationale

CSL was created to support the needs of large-scale consumers of petroleum products globally, primarily, to support the demand of the largest consumer of petroleum products in the world, the Defense Logistics Agency (the “DLA”).  The objective is to identify opportunity: where circles of information, imagination and analysis intersect. However, it is insufficient merely to identify outstanding opportunities; these opportunities must also be captured and executed.

Solution

Our integrated platform is configured to be able to act decisively and boldly, moving swiftly from origination to execution. We are pursuing our strategy by setting clear priorities, actively managing a quality portfolio and employing our distinctive capabilities. We prioritise value over volume by actively managing a high-value downstream and logistics portfolio. We aim to create share-holder value by growing sustainable free cash flow and distributions over the long term.
